Today was my first day with my students at my new school! It was a great day and went by SO fast. I can already tell I've got some sweeties this year. It was also really fun to see some of this kids that were in my class when I did my student teaching. The school I'm starting at this year (ICS) is grades 3-5 and the school I student taught at in first grade was grades K-2nd that feeds into my current school. So some of my first grade babies two years ago are now third graders at ICS! I'm really excited about this school year with a new school and new job!
For dinner tonight I made a new recipe I found on Pinterest - Mexican Stuffed Shells. It was deeelicious. I usually make tacos once every few weeks and am really getting sick of them so I wanted to try making a different Mexican dish. I think these shells are going to become a dinnertime staple around our house. I can't help but share it with you.
Click on the link and go make it, your stomach will thank you. I have some leftovers already packed in my lunch for tomorrow and I can't wait to eat it again!
